Level 2 Home Survey

The RICS Level 2 Home Survey (previously the RICS HomeBuyer Report) is the right choice for most conventional properties in reasonable condition. It gives you a clear account of the property's condition, identifies defects that may affect your decision and flags the maintenance you should plan for.

Where a property is older, extended or visibly altered, we will usually recommend a Level 3 Building Survey instead, and we will tell you so before you instruct us.

Level 3 Home Survey

The RICS Level 3 Home Survey (previously the RICS Building Survey, sometimes called a full structural survey) is our most comprehensive inspection. It examines the structure, fabric and services of the property in detail, with advice on defects, repairs and maintenance options.

It is the right choice for older, extended or unconventional properties, and for any purchase where you want to negotiate with evidence, not estimates.
